FAQ

Common questions

When is PIT finalisation due?

Employers finalise by the last day of the third month after year end. Individuals filing for themselves have until the last day of the fourth month.

I earned from two companies — must I file myself?

Usually yes, apart from some cases where finalisation can be authorised to the employer. We check your withholding certificates to confirm.

Can a dependant registered late still count?

It may count at finalisation if the conditions and evidence are met. We show you what to prepare.

How long does a refund take?

The tax office sets the timing under the law. We file a complete application first time to avoid requests for more.
