The business runs every day. The books should keep up.
Many suppliers, stock on hand, a few dozen staff. VIETAXES handles the bookkeeping, tax and payroll each month, with management reports that show where the profit actually comes from.
What keeps owners up at night
- Input invoices disallowed Missing payment proof, suppliers that disappear, invoices with wrong details. You only find out at year end that an expense doesn’t count.
- Stock on paper differs from stock on the shelf Receipts and issues don’t match, cost of goods is wrong, and reported profit doesn’t look like the money in the bank.
- When the accountant leaves, the books stop Everything depends on one person. When they go, files are half-done and nobody knows the whole picture.

Frequently asked questions
Above what amount must a purchase be paid by bank transfer to claim the VAT?
Under the 2024 VAT Law (in force from 1 July 2025), purchases of 5 million dong or more, VAT included, need non-cash payment proof for the input VAT to be creditable. We check this as documents arrive rather than waiting for year end.
How do quarterly corporate income tax prepayments work?
The company estimates and pays corporate income tax each quarter, no later than the 30th of the first month of the next quarter, without filing a quarterly return. The four prepayments together must reach the minimum share of the final annual liability set by current rules; any shortfall attracts late-payment interest.
What if stock on the books differs from the count?
First find the cause: unrecorded movements, shrinkage, damage or unit errors. The difference is dealt with on the stock-count record; losses beyond the norm or without proper documents may not be deductible. We help set up a receiving and issuing process so the gap shrinks next time.
We already have an in-house accountant. Do we need you?
Many businesses keep an in-house accountant for day-to-day documents and use VIETAXES for tax, month-end close and year-end. The contract splits the scope clearly so nothing is done twice or missed.
Is switching from another provider complicated?
We take over the books, software data and returns already filed, review them first and start from the next period. If we find errors in earlier periods, you get them in writing with a proposed correction before we start.
Who is responsible if the numbers are wrong?
VIETAXES’s responsibility for the work it takes on is set out in the service contract. The business is responsible for the accuracy of the documents it supplies and is the party that signs and files the returns.
